PTA Community Fund

For many years, the CTSD PTA has partnered with the Clinton Township School District to help those with financial need within our schools, whereby students and families would be offered a range of support options via the “Nurse’s Fund.”

Circumstances within the district have changed, and so, going forward, all PTA related items previously included under the Nurse’s Fund services will be handled directly through the PTA’s new Community Fund. The PTA encourages those with financial need to fully utilize all that we have to offer.

The district will continue to assist families with things such as field trips, school supplies, and school sponsored extra-curricular activities. Please reach out to your school's guidance counselors for more information about district assistance.

The mission of the PTA Community Fund is to support CTSD families with financial need so they may fully participate in the physical wellbeing, academic and social-emotional education opportunities the PTA provides.

Personal privacy is very important to us – please be assured that only minimal, essential people (store manager and treasurer) will be involved in processing of PTA Community Fund items, and personal information is strictly confidential.

The PTA Community Fund covers:

• PTA Membership, individual (1 adult) or family (2 adults) - Membership allows parents to vote at general meetings and volunteer within the PTA and at PTA events.
• Pizza for RVS families during the RVS Welcome Back Pizza Party (1 pizza for up to 4 immediate family members or 2 pizzas for more than 4 immediate family members)
• $30 per student for books at the Scholastic Book Fair
• $10 per student for their PMG/RVS Classroom Party Fund or $10 for their CTMS Activity Fund
• $5 entry fee for the CTMS Winter Social and CTMS 5-7th Grade Move Up Social (Please note the CTMS Welcome Back Social and the 8^th Grade End of Year Social have no entry fees. The November Student Council Social is not a PTA event and is not included in the PTA Community Fund.)
• Diversity Night - $25 for presentation materials as well as a presentation display board. Diversity Night is a NEW event (Nov. 14)
• $15 per student for Holiday Secret Shoppe
• Science Fair - $25 for research materials as well as a presentation display board.
