Fundraisers
Fundraising is the backbone of any non-profit organization. The Clinton Township PTA has several ways for you to financially support our mission. Click on the links below for more information. They are sorted by fall, winter, spring and year-round fundraisers.
Fall Fundraisers
Our fall fundraising kicks off with our annual Charleston Wrap sale! You can feel confident in selecting superior quality products from Charleston Wrap, whether you choose the signature Ultra-Heavy™ gift wrap, or beautiful home decor and kitchen goods - everything is 100% satisfaction guaranteed!
One of the most anticipated events for our students is our annual Scholastic Book Fair! There is such excitement among the students to look through all of the books, posters and specialty stationery items as they make their wish lists.
"Students of all ages need to read. Literacy development is a strong indicator of success in school and life. Reading may also lead to a better, more balanced life. What happens when students read? They train their brains, in essence. They are mentally stimulated, acquire knowledge and ideas, reduce stress in their lives, improve their vocabularies and memory, and develop keener analytical skills. All of these skills and abilities are critical to a student's success in school and life. Literacy development is one of the key factors in success as a child and later as an adult. In addition, reading leads to better writing skills cultivates a more tranquil approach to life and personal outlook, and is often very entertaining." (University at Texas, Arlington)
Our biannual clothing drives are both a service and a fundraiser. Our community gets to clear out unneeded clothing, shoes, bikes, some toys, and more, and the PTA earns a percentage of the total weight of collected goods.

Spring Fundraisers
Sweet, salty, chocolatey... Our Spring Gertrude Hawk fundraiser is sure to have something to satisfy your sweet tooth, whether it's chocolate or non-chocolate! Founded in 1936, Gertrude Hawk is proud of its reputation for quality, craftmanship, and innovation.
This is the kick-off fundraiser for each year's 5th grade "Class of" account, which funds their graduation year activities. 5th grade families donate the snacks and run the snack bar.
This basket sale is the primary fundraiser for each year's 7th grade class. All proceeds go to their "Class of" account, which funds their 8th grade activities. It's a great opportunity for all of Clinton Township School District and the general community to win some great prizes!
Kids grow so fast! That's why the PTA likes to offer parents the opportunity to purchase spring photographs of their children while supporting the PTA in the process. It's also a great opportunity for families who have joined our district mid-year and missed the district's fall pictures.
This is primarily a service for our families, but the PTA does earn a small amount per box sold. Each spring we receive an updated school supply list from each grade. We contract with a vendor to provide boxed supplies that are delivered to your child's classroom for the first day of school. Simple and easy!

Show your pride in your child's achievement as they graduate from Clinton Township School District by displaying a graduation lawn sign.
Year-Round Fundraisers
This is our Armchair Fundraiser. 100% of your donations go to support our schools, whereas with our merchandise fundraisers, the PTA earns only a percentage of total sales.
This is the most efficient and effective way to each family to support their students. Families can spend less time fundraising and more time learning and having fun!
Did you know that CTSD has approximately 1,200 students enrolled? If every family directly donated $40 per student, we would cover our general fund budget. If every family direct donated $60 per student, we could nearly DOUBLE our programming and services - WITHOUT any additional fundraising!
If your employer has a matching gift program, please include the company's form with your donation.
Your membership dues directly support the activities of the PTA. Membership doesn't mean you have to attend meetings or even volunteer - although we'd love to have you come to our meetings! It simply means you see the value in the PTA and our mission to serve our district.
Members also receive exclusive benefits such as our free, online directory and access to our "Faculty Favorites" list of CTSD staff's favorite things.
If you DO want to volunteer, membership is required to volunteer at PTA events such as Gallery Time, Bookfair, Dance Chaperones, and more! You will be covered by our insurance and if you are representing the PTA at our events, you need to be a member.
Kids' Night Out
Several times throughout the year, the 8th grade offers an evening of fun at CTMS for kids in grades K-5 - with pizza, games, crafts and movies. 8th grade students and parents hang out with the younger kids and give them a fun evening out, giving YOU a night off as well!
This fundraiser benefits the current 8th grade's "Class Of" fund, for their year-end activities.
Entertainment Event
Who doesn't love something great to do with the family? Whether it's an exciting game of basketball with the Harlem Wizards vs CTSD Staff, or an evening of mesmerizing magic, the PTA loves to bring the WHOLE district together! These events vary by year and proceeds benefit the "Class Of" funds of volunteer's students.
Many stores and businesses have programs to give schools a percentage of your purchases AT NO COST to you!
The PTA provides a number of practical products for family, which earn the PTA a small amount on each purchase. They include:

Dabour Photography offers a discount photo session certificate, purchased through the PTA Store, and donates the cost to the PTA. In addition, the PTA receives a percentage of packages purchased.
The CTSD PTA has partnered with Lovable Labels to provide our families an opportunity to buy personalized labels for school, home, office, allergy alerts, and more - and the PTA earns 20% of each order placed. Best of all? FREE SHIPPING!
