Greetings From Our President

Hello CTSD community, 

On behalf of the PTA, the Executive Board and I, are excited to welcome you all to the 2023-2024 School Year. As you start to settle in at our CTSD schools, we will be here as a resource of information and support. We look forward to promoting inclusion, engagement, and family empowerment.

This is your PTA. We envision the PTA to be very active this year, while building off last year's success. As a Parent Teacher Association (PTA), our mission is to support the school, the staff, parents/caregivers, and most importantly, the students in our community.

As we all know, "it takes a village to raise a child" and to do so, we encourage you all to consider volunteering at our events and participating in our General PTA meetings held conveniently over Zoom. These meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday every month. The schedule and zoom meeting links are available here.

In addition to PTA meetings, we will be hosting many other events as well as sponsoring activities within the schools such as Gallery Time, Rachel’s Challenge, in-school celebrations, and family events such as Welcome Back Socials, Trunk or Treat, Bingo Nights, and much more. Please be on the lookout for flyers, emails, and website postings regarding all the PTA has to offer.

As parents first, we understand how helpful and comforting it can be to have access to other parents in our schools, which help build relationships and make our community stronger.
